Morning all,
Wonder if someone could please assist but firstly SQL is not my forte... so go easy.
Basically we are using Solarwinds SAM to monitor our SQL Failover Cluster. We use the application monitor template of 'Microsoft Windows 2008 Failover Cluster' which currently shows one of the components of that template as below:
Resources: Resource Failure - 4
The template states that any count more that 0 is CRITICAL.
On looking at perfmon on the server this relates to it shows that for performance counters of:
Cluster Resources/Resource Failure - SQL Server Agent (1)
Cluster Resources/Resource Failure - SQL Server (3)
Obvioulsy this is giving the total count of 4 which is show in SAM. We more than likely in the past few weeks probably had a failover but surely if this happens again the count will just continue and SAM will constantly show this as critical.
Therefore I was wondering is there anyway of clearing the current counts of 1 and 3??
Thanks
