removing the interface by list resource retains the interface information on the database and its multiple dependency on other interface table. This will cause conflicts on generation of reports, alerting issue and other function that uses mainly on the database. For now you may not see that issue, but in the long run, there is a big possibility that you will see conflict on your data.
It is recommended by Solarwinds in removing nodes, interface or volumes monitored on NPM to use the delete function. List resource is only use to rediscover the device in adding again the elements (interfaces and volumes).
