We had no idea when a web server was unable to log in to our website. We were not using any other software to monitor this.

Solarwindws Server and Application Monitor (SAM). This allowed us to monitor websites by specifying a specific URL, Protocol, login credentials, and text to search for after login.
- Did you consider other options, and why did you choose SolarWinds?
Yes we did. In the end SolarWinds was the most cost effective and had a very large plugin base + community.
- How has life been since you've rolled out SolarWinds in your environment?
The IT staff has total visibility of the environment and we are no longer "last to find out" when an issue occurs.
