I doubl-checked name and IP of workstations and again, somehow connected to the incorrect workstation. Not sure how or why this may have happened.
This is typically a function of DNS not being properly updated after a DHCP lease changes.
As a result, DNS returns a "stale address" for the host being queried, but that "stale address" is now in use by another host.
Starting point would be to reconcile DHCP and DNS, and make sure that DHCP Clients are properly registering their leases with DNS.
