That could still be the case. Have you noticed any differences in the interface configs for devices that are working and ones that are not? I noticed that all of the devices I can not monitor do not have the rmon monitor command on them and the ones that I can do. At this point I'm not just thinking outside the box I'm carrying it to the dumpster hoping to trip along the way.
