I like to have a weekly report setup to 'audit' the unmanaged devices in the network. This SQL can be used to create something simple:

SELECT CAPTION, IP_ADDRESS, UNMANAGEFROM, UNMANAGEUNTIL
FROM NODES
WHERE UNMANAGED = 1
ORDER BY UNMANAGEUNTIL ASC
