Now that I think about it. My explanation of "dynamic" doesn't hold water either because how would it ever know the output it sees the first time isn't the output solarwinds will receive every time. Meaning if I write host with the correct info in script, the powershell engine should display output during template creation care less about names and just that I followed 2 guidelines. 1. No more than 10 out put pairs 2. Each pair must have statistics and can have message must follow template of (type) :
These 2 guidelines, which are the only documented criteria and are apparently not complete because it doesn't work.
Lastly this script is intended for hyperv clustered shared volumes and exchange server database/logs . We don't assign letters because we'd quickly run out of letters. So to test a script, insert thumb drive and remove drive letter to test it.
